At Hermanos de la Calle, our work begins where it matters most — on the streets. Our Outreach Program is at the heart of everything we do, meeting individuals and families experiencing homelessness across Miami-Dade County with compassion, respect, and real solutions.

 

Our outreach workers connect directly with people living on the streets, in encampments, and in crisis situations, offering not only immediate relief — such as food, clothing, and hygiene kits — but also long-term support through case management, transportation, and access to critical services. We take the time to listen, to understand each person’s story, and to walk with them step by step toward stability.

 

Through strong partnerships with local agencies and organizations, we guide individuals through the Continuum of Care system, helping them secure identification, healthcare, benefits, and housing opportunities. Our team also provides emotional support and follow-up, ensuring that no one is left behind after that first connection.
