JUNE 2026
June! This month we served 288 people, helping 185 secure housing. Over the past 12 months, we have served 2,325 people, with 2,017 successfully transitioning into housing. Since partnering with the Homeless Trust in May 2021, we have served 7,180 people and helped 6,582 move off the streets. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible! This month, we were honored at a gala hosted by Mayor Francis Suarez alongside Commissioners Ralph Rosado and Anthony Rodriguez. It was a meaningful recognition of our team's efforts and a reminder of our commitment to ensuring no one has to live on the streets. This work is never easy. In many cases, it involves not only finding resources but also building trust and encouraging people to accept help. Even so, we continue moving forward, one person at a time! June also marked an important milestone as funding was approved for a new Mental Health Center, which will provide critical support for individuals with complex mental health needs. Plans also moved forward for a new Navigation Center that will accommodate up to 80 people directly from the streets with minimal barriers to entry, creating another vital pathway to housing and services. Programs Veterans: We served 71 veterans, received 12 referrals, and helped 8 veterans secure housing. Maternity Home: Our maternity home remained at full capacity, serving 10 mothers. Four new mothers joined the program in June, and two additional mothers moved into Casa Santa María. We also celebrated the arrival of baby Christopher! Housing: We continued supporting residents across our 30 homes and convent. This month, we said goodbye to Alejandro Pérez, a resident of Casa San Alberto. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. Outreach: Extreme summer heat continues to create urgent challenges, while the shortage of available shelter beds makes it difficult to provide immediate housing when someone is ready to leave the streets. The new Mental Health Center and Navigation Center will be important resources in helping us respond more quickly. Hotels & Families: The high cost of housing continues to disproportionately affect families, especially single mothers. This month, we assisted 20 families experiencing homelessness, helping five secure permanent housing. Venezuela: We launched a campaign to support people experiencing homelessness in Venezuela. Anyone interested in contributing can contact marguilauria@hermanosdelacalle.org, who is coordinating this initiative. Thank you for your support! Together, we remain committed to ensuring that no one has to sleep on the streets of Miami. One step at a time, we're making progress!

MAY 2026
May! May was a busy and blessed month for Hermanos de la Calle as we continued our mission to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness find stability, housing, and hope. This month, we served 326 individuals experiencing homelessness, and 164 successfully secured housing. Over the past 12 months, we have assisted 2,262 people, with 2,034 achieving positive housing outcomes. Since May 2021, we have served 7,002 individuals and helped 6,479 transition off the streets and into stable living situations. Highlights from May The Convent Opens Its Doors We officially opened The Convent with a community celebration and shared meal. Today, the property is home to 22 individuals who transitioned directly from homelessness into permanent housing. New Life at the Maternity Home Three beautiful baby girls were born this month at our Maternity Home, bringing the total number of babies currently living in the home to six. Volunteers Making a Difference Our volunteers brought joy and connection to residents through movie nights, bingo, and a community-wide painting project at the hotel. Program Updates Veterans Program We helped 16 veterans secure housing in May, bringing our year-to-date total to 202 veterans housed. Housing Program Our housing network continues to grow, with more than 30 homes in operation, in addition to The Convent. We remain actively interested in multifamily housing opportunities that can help us expand our impact. Outreach Our outreach team continues its work across Miami, conducting street outreach every two weeks alongside dedicated volunteers and connecting individuals with critical services and housing opportunities. Hotel & Family Program A total of 83 individuals stayed in our hotel program this month. Nearly 20 families transitioned directly from homelessness into the hotel, and five families successfully moved from the hotel into their own permanent homes. Looking Ahead Our mission remains clear: ensuring that no one is left living on the streets of Miami. While there is still work to do, every person housed brings us one step closer to that goal. Thank you to our supporters, volunteers, partners, and donors who make this work possible.

APRIL 2026
April! This month we served 346 brothers and sisters in need, and 182 of them are now sleeping under a safe roof tonight. - Over the last 12 months, we’ve supported 2,289 lives, and 1,957 people found a fresh start. - Since May 2021, we’ve reached 6,862 people, with 6,266 moving into positive housing situations. Moments that stayed with us this month: • El Convento officially opened its doors, and today 12 people have found not just housing there, but dignity, comfort, and a place to call home. • We shared two beautiful community nights at Motel Ernesto — another movie night hosted by the amazing young volunteers from Film for All, and a joyful bingo night thanks to Teens for the Homeless. So much laughter and love. • After a long process, we were finally able to release the humanitarian aid container in Santiago de Cuba. The supplies are now reaching the people who need them most. In the middle of so much darkness — without food, without power — we hope to be a small ray of hope. • We also confirmed our June 6th fundraising gala, organized by Francis Suarez alongside commissioners Ralph Rosado and René García. Their support gives us even more strength to keep going. Our Programs: 1️⃣ Veterans 🇺🇸 15 new referrals, 131 veterans currently receiving services, 13 housed, and 4 families able to stay in their homes. Behind every number is courage, resilience, and a second chance. 2️⃣ Hearts for Life 💙 We currently have 10 moms in the home — a new record! Three babies are already here with us, and three more are expected in May. Our first mom has officially moved into the new house. 3️⃣ Housing 🏠 30 active homes and one multifamily property with space for 25 residents. Today, nearly 200 people are living under a safe roof through this program. This work needs more hands, more presence, and more community support. If you feel called to help, your time can truly change someone’s life. 4️⃣ Outreach 🚶♂️ We continue working every day to make sure no one is left on the streets. The biggest challenge is having enough safe, sustainable places for people to go — and while it’s not easy, little by little, we’re making progress. This month, we also supported the case involving Venezuelan families stranded at the airport. Thankfully, thanks to community support and media attention, the situation was resolved. We are also continuing to encounter more families experiencing homelessness. Housing affordability remains one of the biggest challenges we see every day. 5️⃣ Hotel Program 🛏️ An average of 80 people per day found shelter through the hotel program this month. 13 families secured permanent housing. And the volunteer-led events continue bringing so much joy to everyone staying there. Maybe someone else wants to organize the next one? ✨ Thank you for walking alongside us. Thank you for believing in this mission. And thank you for continuing to show up for those who need it most. 💛

MARCH 2026
March! During this month, we served 322 brothers and sisters, of whom 179 achieved a positive housing outcome. In the last 12 months: 2,166 people served, with 1,912 successful cases. Since we began in May 2021: 6,679 brothers and sisters served, and 6,112 were able to leave the streets. Housing We continue to welcome more people into our programs. The Homeless Trust granted us a building for 25 people, which we named “El Convento.” We now have: • 200 people in houses • 80 in the hotel • 25 in El Convento And there are still 1,100 brothers and sisters on the streets… let’s go find them! ⚠️ We need female volunteers for a house with 9 women. If anyone feels called to serve, you are more than welcome! 📌 Programs 1️⃣ Veterans • 28 new referrals • 123 veterans currently being served • 12 obtained housing • 13 received support to avoid losing their homes 2️⃣ Hearts for Life 💙 • Baby Hurren Salomé was born 👶 • 19 babies have already been born in the house • 30 moms have been assisted in the maternity home since the program began • We also received calls from 60 other mothers and provided support by connecting them with centers that could better help them • The new house is ready and begins operating this month 3️⃣ Housing • 200 people in the program • 30 active houses + El Convento added • Every day brings new challenges This month we painfully said goodbye to our brothers: 🕊️ Jesús Trujillo and Carlos Olmos. 4️⃣ Outreach (Street Ministry) We are living through difficult moments due to Venezuelan families stranded at the airport trying to self-deport. We need everyone’s help, as they have no resources and the government does not cover lodging. There are families with small children and young people at high risk. 5️⃣ Hotel • 80 people (adults and children) • All working and taking firm steps toward a better future • Volunteer events have been a great joy for everyone 🎉 6️⃣ Cuba 🇨🇺 The container has arrived! Next week it will be released, and we’re heading to the island for a few days to carry out a “Love Attack.” ❤️🔥 Vamos que se puede!

FEBRUARY 2026
February! We served 303 brothers and sisters living on the streets, of whom 141 achieved a positive housing destination. 📊 Impact Last 12 months: → 2,137 people served → 1,860 positive exits (real successes) Since May 2021: → 6,439 people served → 5,926 success stories 🙌 Program Highlights Veterans 🇺🇸 - 22 referrals - 10 in Rapid Rehousing + 12 in Homeless Prevention - Nearly 200 active veterans in the program 💙 Maternity Home 👶❤️ We welcomed a new mom, and several others have already moved forward with great strength. The new house is almost ready! It will be a turning point, helping moms take off with work and dignity. Love Attack (Outreach) We faced very cold days, many outreach runs, and supported a large number of people. The affordability crisis in Miami is severe, compounded by fear around deportations and separated families. These are difficult times. The highlight of the month was Love Attack to Cuba 🇨🇺 We successfully filled a humanitarian aid container. It was a huge joy to see so many people come together to help. 👉 Next step: traveling to Santiago de Cuba to distribute the aid. The brave ones are ready! Endless thanks to everyone who made this project possible 🙏 Housing 🏠 (urgent need for more help!) Many people simply need to be heard and to stop feeling invisible, even if just for a moment. This makes a huge difference in easing tensions and improving coexistence in our homes. Who’s willing to step in and help? 📌 Today • ~200 people living in 30 houses • A new home for moms with children coming soon • The Homeless Trust confirmed an entire building to house 25 more people - a whole community Families With support from the Bezos Family Foundation grant 👨👩👧👦 In February, 10 families (45 people) were able to secure a home of their own. And finally, the Hotel 🏨 • 172 people stayed during February • Average: 80 people per day Ideas are more than welcome! ✨ Vamos que se puede!

JANUARY 2026
January came in strong! Another month flew by—and we keep going. Here are this month’s numbers: We helped 319 brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness, and 193 of them were placed in safe housing. Over the past 12 months: 2,095 people served, with 1,844 reaching a positive housing outcome (almost 88% success!). Since we began in May 2021: we’ve served 6,311 people, and 5,819 of them now have a roof over their heads. We’re getting closer and closer to a world where no one has to sleep on the street. Now for the most beautiful news—program by program: Hearts for Life (our maternity program) Baby Nathan was born! Lisandra’s little boy is now home, along with four other babies. Looking back with Sister Emma: since we welcomed Yaneibys, our very first mom in June 2024, 25 babies have been born through the program. 19 were born to moms who were safely living in our home. 6 were born to moms we couldn’t house, but whom we supported so they could stay in safe places. And we referred 20 more moms to other programs. And the BIG news of the month: Casa Santa María is officially open! This is the next step for moms graduating from the program—a safe place for them and their babies. We’ll have 14 moms and their children living across three neighboring houses. Basically… a reality show in the making 😄 Please pray for Sister Emma—and for more vocations! Veterans We received 35 new referrals, secured rapid rehousing for 22, and helped 13 prevent eviction. Altogether, we’re currently working with 177 veterans to make sure none of them end up without a home. Thank you for trusting us! Families Thanks to the Bezos Foundation grant, we’re going full speed ahead. In January alone, we helped 30 families experiencing homelessness. Right now, about 22 families are staying at Motel Ernesto while we work to find them a quick and safe path forward. If you’re able to organize a group to provide meals once a week, that would be a huge help. Love Attack (outreach) It’s been incredible to see so many volunteers step up during this cold wave. We were able to bring nearly 100 people to safety. We can’t wait to see you next time—thank you so much! Housing (shared homes) We’ve reached 30 houses! That means 200 people now have a place to call home. We still need volunteers to stop by and chat, mow lawns, paint, help with transportation, or lend a hand however they can. How can you help? With whatever you have—donations, time, spreading the word, a prayer. It all matters. Together, we’re getting closer every day to a world where no one has to live on the street. Let’s keep going—we can do this! 💪✨

DECEMBER 2025
December! Happy New Year to everyone! Thank you all for joining us on this journey. This month, we served 278 brothers and sisters (56 of them minors) and achieved positive housing placements for 188 people. Over the course of the year, that brings us to 2,078 people served and 1,846 successfully transitioned out of homelessness. Since May 2021, we have reached 6,117 people, with successful outcomes for 5,658. It was a month of events, celebrations, and also sadness. We had wonderful moments with volunteers who stepped up and brought Christmas into the homes; others celebrated with families staying in hotels, and many went out to brighten December nights. Sadly, Joel, who lived in San Julio, passed away. We also welcomed the birth of two babies in the maternity home. We continue to grow and have rented one more house, San Mauricio, bringing our total to 28 homes. This supports nearly 200 people in our housing program and another 100 staying in hotels. We always need help in the homes; if anyone feels called to join us, please write to us so we can see how to involve you. Many people are alone and need a conversation, a smile, and companionship. On the streets, we continue to encounter families who lose their homes due to evictions, and the impact of immigration issues is strongly felt, as families are separated and it becomes very difficult for those who remain to stay afloat. There are fewer people living on the streets, even though during the winter some travel down from northern states seeking the warmth of Miami. We are very close to being able to offer everyone a dignified place to live. The challenge is getting people to accept it; but that is why we are here. Everyone has a special light, and perhaps they're waiting for you to help them decide. Take the leap. Join us on the Friday outreach visits. We can do this!

NOVEMBER 2025
In November, we served 299 individuals and helped 168 people transition out of homelessness, including 62 children. Over the past 12 months, we have served 2,057 people, with 1,822 moving into positive housing destinations. Since we began in May 2021, working within the government system, we have supported 5,956 individuals—and successfully helped 5,497 of them leave the streets. We continue to grow. We recently rented a new home, San Jaime, bringing our total to 28 houses, in addition to the many individuals and families we are currently supporting in hotels. New life continues to bring hope. Babies are still being born at our maternity home. In November, Liam was born. Yesterday, Brenexy was born and will remain in the incubator for a few days, and today another baby girl is expected. That brings our total to 18 babies, with 9 mothers currently living in the home. A true blessing. On the streets, we are encountering more families, and deportations continue to be a heavy and ongoing concern. We hope this situation improves soon. As an incredible surprise, we received a grant from the Bezos Foundation’s Day One Families Fund to support families experiencing homelessness. This invitation-only grant was awarded to just 32 organizations across the entire United States—and we are honored to be one of them. This is a tremendous milestone and an important step forward that empowers us to help even more families and ensure that no one is left on the streets. Finally, three humanitarian trips to Cuba have already taken place, and a fourth departs this Saturday. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to reach out and be part of it.

OCTOBER 2025
October! This month we served 305 people (69 children) and 181 moved on to positive destinations! In the last 12 months, the numbers rise to 2,038 served and 1,805 “rescued,” and since we started working with the Homeless Trust (May 2021) the total jumps to 5,794 served, of which 5,350 moved on to positive housing destinations. On top of that, we serve nearly 40 veterans every month. It was a busy month. We lost Vicente Valls and the great Mauricio Puertas. We had no births, but several pregnant women arrived, and some left for their destinations with their babies. The houses keep growing, and today all of them are full, so we’ve decided to rent two more… bringing us to 27! It’s incredible and a miracle—when we started, we could barely manage one, and now we’re at 27. Crazy. If anyone has a house to rent in working-class neighborhoods, please let us know. In total, we currently have 176 people sheltered in the houses and 47 in hotels… including a couple of very large families with seven children each who need a sponsor family. (That’s 28 children in total.) The foundation keeps growing. We now have 7 interns from Mast helping in the afternoons and 3 from FIU who are completing hours to graduate as social workers… along with the 25 people already on staff, that’s an army of 35 dedicated to making sure no one ends up on the street. A blessing! Our programs are strong. In the maternity home we have 8 mothers (once we reach 10, we’ll have to open more). Starting in November, one baby will be born each month. In outreach we are the agency that brings the most people off the streets. In Housing, the Homeless Trust is beginning to support us with the two new houses. Our hotel program is also growing—we serve the DDA and the city of Hialeah. The recovery house we run is also full, and we continue receiving ex-convicts sent to us by the Catholic Church’s Ministry of Prisons. How can you help? With Time, Treasure, or Talent—or a combination of all three. The holidays are coming, and it’s a tough time for many of our brothers and sisters who consider us their only family. As every year, we’ll have a Thanksgiving meal at the Key Biscayne lighthouse. If anyone can sign up to pick up our brothers and sisters from the houses and bring them over, you’d be doing us a huge favor—and of course you’re invited too! You can join us on the streets on Fridays or help in the houses whenever you feel called to. Some of our elderly are very lonely, and many young people need mentors and someone to talk to. If you can offer jobs, that is also something we’re very short on. Let’s keep going—yes, we can!

SEPTEMBER 2025
September! It was the close of our fiscal year — and here are the results… This month, we served 262 people, of whom 144 moved into positive housing destinations (and we keep working with the others!). Over the past 12 months, we reached 2,031 people, helping 1,950 of them secure stable housing. And since we began, we’ve served 5,629 people and helped 5,192 leave homelessness behind. We’ve also served over 500 veterans, supporting 172 in finding a place to live and helping more than 100 through homelessness prevention. It was a year of growth and consolidation for us as an organization. We renewed our government grants, expanded programs, and launched new initiatives. Many babies were born, countless people passed through our houses, we lost some brothers along the way — and Mayor Suárez hosted another gala for us! As a foundation, we stayed focused on our community, striving to connect scarce resources to real needs as efficiently as possible. We served — and created opportunities for others to serve — through the many volunteers who give so generously of themselves. A heartfelt thank you to all those anonymous hands that respond to every chat request, go out to the streets, support us monthly, visit our houses, and so much more. You are the secret ingredient in our brothers’ formula — and the reason we are today one of the most successful organizations helping people experiencing homelessness. To everyone, thank you! In serving others, the words “Thy kingdom come” become, little by little, a lived reality. May there be many more of those moments ahead. Let’s keep going — we can do this!

AUGUST 2025
In August, we served 330 people and helped 195 leave homelessness behind — that’s more than six lives changed every day. Over the past year, we have served 2,028 hermanos and housed 1,832! Behind every number is a story: veterans rebuilding their lives, mothers welcoming new babies, families in hiding, and migrants facing impossible choices. This month, we celebrated the births of three beautiful babies in our Hearts for Life program — bringing the total to 12 children born into safety. With 50 people in hotels and 170 in homes, the need for help continues.! The most requested support? A friendly ear, someone to remind them they matter.
